The royal Scotsman – World’s most luxurious train

Destination LuxuryThe royal Scotsman is a simple way to experience the splendor of Scotland in complete luxury, with only a couple fellow travelers, in an environment where you are able to give yourself over completely to the care of the team and let everything unfold in its own good time. The royal Scotsman was initially launched in mite 1985, even though the train in its present form dates from could 1990. The running order of the automobiles, beginning in the back is: observation car with verandah viewing platform, which was originally built in 1960 as a first class kitchen car named snipe and in 1989 converted to its present configuration and able to comfortably seat thirty-six guests at any 1 time. Here guests can relax in comfy chairs and couches and watch the constantly changing Scottish panorama through its many windows, or enjoy the exhilaration of the open verandah. Adjacent to this is dining car two that is the earliest of the carriages and still keeps its original name success from 1945 as it was built as a manager’s saloon for London & north east railway. Victory can seat up to sixteen guests and is decorated with parquetry panels revealing intricate designs of thistles, butterflies and flowing ribbons wrapped in various woods. It is especially made dining chairs and tables, bright orange drapes and brushed aluminum fittings to wood paneling, and of course a state of the art kitchen. Both dining cars provide tasteful surroundings, decorated in lavish fabrics and rich mahogany paneling. Victory chairs guests on tables of four and two, whereas raven has bigger tables for six or eight diners.
